Jason Jeong

In 2001, Jason Jeong went on to work for the start-up Sayo Designs, a private label footwear and apparel company, as a Director of Design & Manufacturing and work with hip-hop/rap artists such as Outkast and Snoop Dogg.

With the company feeling the effects of the “start-up bust”, Jason went on to change course and go into industrial manufacturing and joined MP Equipment Company in 2003 as the Engineering Manager with responsibilities to oversee manufacturing, product development, R&D, and supply chain management.

In 2005, Jason started Life Multimedia as a web design company which originally began as a hobby in high school. In 2008, shortly after the acquisition of MP Equipment Company by the Middleby Corporation and out of the personal desire to invest in a wider variety of people, Jason left MP Equipment Company to further grow Life Multimedia by teaching people, through Experience Labs, how to utilize social media to connect with people and grow their business. Also in 2008, Jason answered a God given call to serve as the Student Pastor at the Atlanta Korean Baptist Church.

Jason was born in Chicago, IL where he began his tennis career at the age of 7 that led to competing internationally throughout his junior career and ultimately had the priviledge of competing as a NCAA Division I scholarship athlete at the Georgia Institute of Technology while earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Jason was married to Laura Kim in 2004 and is currently in the process of adopting a child from South Korea. He enjoys any activity with his wife such as tennis, golf, playing instruments, and playing video games, particularly Halo 3 online (yes, my wife loves to play Halo).
